Another great film choice from the Public Library! Marty Supreme is a fun written drama about ping pong legend Marty Supreme and his journey to becoming a father alongside competing in the British Open. Between a rowdy social life, a difficult family life and competing to be the best ping pong champ, Marty has his work set out for him. The movie follows supreme and how he competes alongside Japans champion. In the end, he realizes his role as a father and follows through. The public libraries cool, rustic theater set the scene perfectly for this drama. I felt myself clinging to the edge of my seat especially with Timothy Chalamets performance! A definite brownie point to whoever chose this flick of the month, plus it was free. 10/10 will be going back!
